How to save students and the University some money on toner/ink:
Most students accessing the PowerPoints that you create will print them out. Colored backgrounds (especially dark ones) use up a LOT of toner/ink. If you reserve color for specific points rather than entire backgrounds, you’ll keep your PowerPoints easy to read and much less expensive to print.
ALSO: remember that if you are going to have student print out PowerPoints or any other handouts anyway, it COSTS MORE to do it by computer printer, even using printers on campus. Consider having Duplication make multiple copies instead and save the University and your students some money.
